I totalentreprenaden ingår förutom byggande av ett logistikcenter även rivning av byggnader på tomten samt sanering av markområdet. Byggarbetet börjar i juni 2020. Logistikcentret ska bli färdigt i slutet av oktober 2021. Wärtsilä bygger ett center för innovation och tillverkning på Vasklot i Vasa. Bolaget investerar totalt 200 miljoner euro på Vasklot och flyttar från sitt område i centrum av Vasa.
